Amarone della Valpolicella 1995

Part of the great vintage series, this 1995 Masi sets the benchmark for Amarone. Owners, the Boscaini family have a firm belief that their Amarone are cellar worthy, and this is a fine example of what aged Amarone is all about. Made from dried grapes namely from the Corvina variety, this medium-dry full-bodied wine has smooth tannins and a pronounced flavour intensity of dried cherries, raisins, prunes, cedar, and spices. 

Grapes - Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara

Food Pairing - after dinner wine with aged cheese like Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino or Gorgonzola. Also a great wine with red meats, rich flavoured dishes, and game.
