Calon-Segur 1996

A classic St-Estephe from the left banks of Bordeaux that is maturing beautifully. Rich, powerful, full-bodied with plenty of ripe tannins. There are plenty of juicy dark fruits, black cherries, black plums and blackcurrants. These are complemented with rich notes of cedar, spices and dried herbs. If anyone has more patience, this could further evolve for another decade. A perfect wine to share with your loved ones on those special occasions.

Grape - 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot,  7% Cabernet Franc,  and 3% Petit Verdot

Food Pairing - take it out to your favourite Teppanyaki joint and pair it with any grilled meats.
