Certan de May 2006 (Half Bottle 375mL)

After 15 years of bottle ageing, this Pomerol half bottle has reached its perfect time for opening. The high tannins have really softened and are well integrated into the wine providing a firm structure that makes this wine so enjoyable in the mouth. It has a nice complex aroma of black cherries, blackcurrant, liquorice, cedar, and slight herbal notes. Full bodied and good length on the finish, a very fine example from this Pomeroll estate.

Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon 

Food Pairing: Enjoy it on its own for a quiet evening.
