Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2006 'Le Crau'

This highly aromatic, well balanced, full bodied Châteauneuf-du-Pape is definitely a crowd pleaser. This 2006 vintage is maturing well and has developed layers and layers of flavours with a silky mouthfeel from its ripe tannins. Ripe flavours of black cherries, plums, blueberries followed by sweet currant, prunes and hints of chocolate, pepper and smoke. A carefully blended wine that is powerful and complex with a long lasting finish.
