Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2012

One of the top vintages from this Chateau, it is starting to drink nicely with its lively rich aromas coming from blackberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberry, plums and mediterranean herbs. It has beautiful layers of flavours, with good concentration and purity. The tannins are fine and smooth and together with the intense fruit aromas makes it a truly desirable wine for any occasion. The vines are old and have been organically grown for 50 years. 

Grapes - Main blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, plus other minor varieties. 

Food Pairing - can take on flavourful dishes such braised or slow cooked short ribs, or keep it simple with your favourite cut of steak.
