Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2015

A very well made value for you money red Châteauneuf-du-Pape, bursting with ripeness yet staying very fresh. The palate is filled with sweet dark cherries, plums, raspberries, chocolate with a touch of spice and herbs in the finish. Fruits were picked at optimal ripeness as reflected in the smooth sweet tannins. Very enjoyable wine with a nice long finish. Drink now or in the next couple of years. 

Grape - 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault 

Food Pairing - with its ripe fruits, pair with strong flavoured meats like braised lamb shanks or oxtail stew.
