Morgon 2018

Morgon is one of the top Crus in Beaujolais. If you have not tried this style of wine before, this Morgon is a great introduction to fine Beaujolais wine. Made using Burgundian techniques using Gamay, winemaker Jean-Paul Brun succeeded in creating wines just as complex as their Northern counterparts. It is almost full-bodied with good fruit concentration of cherries, plums, blackberries, and hints of earth. The silky tannins are well balanced by its high acidity giving it a good structure, and a very welcoming wine.
