Gattinara Riserva

For any nebbiolo lover, this Gattinara by the Travaglini family is worth trying alongside any good Barolo or Barbaresco. The Riserva is produced using the best parcels of grapes from its oldest vineyards (35-60years old), and is then aged for 3 years in oak and a further 12 months in bottle. The result is a wine with nice smooth tannins along with classic nebbiolo red fruit character with a hint of spice and raisins. Almost impossible to find an aged example of this beautiful wine, so don’t miss out on tasting this 20+ year old nebbiolo.
