Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2010

From an exceptional vintage and one of the finest produced from this estate. After a decade of cellaring, this wine is ready for consumption, though it will still improve for decades to come. Good concentration of blackcurrant, black cherries, plum, and hints of floral notes of violets. The tannins are impressive and balanced out by its bright acidity. A nice long finish to round off this impressive Pauillac. 

Grapes - 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot

Food Pairing - Will go well with lamb chops and equally well with Xinjiang lamb skewers.
