Lupicaia 2006

The estate’s flagship wine from the hills of Tuscany, these are wines made for ageing mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with a petit verdot and Merlot blend. Now in its 16th year, this wine is certainly ready for consumption. Rich in black fruits, blackcurrants, black cherries and plums, still incredibly fresh with tannins that are well integrated now. Oak usage gives the wine a touch of elegance and added complexity to the overall finish.

Food Pairing - when we tasted this wine it was with a charcoal grilled T-bone fiorentina style and it was amazingly good
